Operation Quiet Comfort

via FoxyTunes It's time to get ready for Packing Day for Honor and Comfort:
Homefront - Ft. Campbell, Edition. This is scheduled for Saturday,
December 29th, starting at 10:00 a.m. and will run all day until the
job is done. We can use your help - whether you can work a few hours
or the whole day! Food will be POTLUCK!

Please contact VPC Lois Rager at dribbles777@ yahoo.com to schedule the
time that you plan to work on Packing Day, and also to let her know
what kind of dish you plan to bring for the Potluck.

Packing Day will take place at the warehouse in Plymouth, and once you
register with Lois, she will provide you with the address and
directions to the warehouse.

UPDATE

Wonderful news!!!!! In a previous post I talked about Lex and how his handler was KIA and the military was sending him back for training instead of going home to his handler's family. Well, the family is now going to get Lex!!!! Way to go everyone who signed the petition!!!! YAY!!! Great news indeed....

Home Coming Party

Hey all, just a heads up we have an Army National guard Unit , the 1- 182 FA Deuces, coming home in early Feb. We are trying to get 200 welcome home cards signed, enough for each soldier to get one. If you would like to help leave a comment here. We are also looking for Michigan Angels to help plan the celebration with the FRG'S (Family Readiness Groups) Keep checking for more details on this celebration!!! Thanks!
